Easy Tea for Two with the Teaze Infuser
October 15, 2012 (Published: October 15, 2012)At Crimson Cup, we’re all about finding great new ways to enjoy coffee and tea. So we were excited to find the Teaze Infuser, a patented, hassle-free way to brew loose-leaf tea.
Stylishly made from medical-grade, BPA-free plastic and a stainless steel filter, the Teaze allows you to watch loose tea leaves slowly unfurl and bloom, releasing their essential flavor oils until your tea reaches the perfect strength.
To brew 20 ounces of delicious hot tea (enough for two, 10-ounce cups), just drop about a tablespoon of your favorite loose-leaf tea into the infuser. Fill to the top with hot, not-quite-boiling water (about 175 to 208 degrees, depending on the type of tea). Let steep for two to five minutes. Then, position the Teaze over your tea cup and let the tea flow!
Cleanup is a snap. Just remove the stainless steel filter and rinse. The Teaze is even dishwasher-safe.
The Teaze is one of the stars of the new brew bar at Crimson Cup Coffee House. If you’re in Columbus, stop by any time to try it out. Or, check out this video.
