New Loyalty Program Offers Education, Training and Travel Rewards

How about earning some great education, training and travel rewards?
Our new Crimson Cup Rewards program is one more way we’re helping independent coffee shops thrive.
Through this program, our coffee shop customers will receive a credit of three to five percent of 2013 sales, depending on spending level.
Credits can be used in 2014 toward:
- Travel to exotic coffee plantations
- The 2014 Independents Day conference, or
- A wide variety of training classes.
As a part of our commitment to sourcing sustainably-grown coffee and improving the lives of small-plot coffee farmers, Crimson Cup organizes several trips to coffee-growing countries each year.
In 2013, we visited coffee plantations and processing facilities in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Honduras. Four Ohio coffee shop owners participated in the Costa Rica trip.
Coffee house customers may choose from more than 20 different training classes covering nearly every aspect of coffee shop operations. Topics range from Coffee 101 and Advanced Barista Training to Comparative Cupping and Marketing. Classes may be held at the company’s worldwide headquarters in Columbus or at customers’ coffee shops.
Content for many of the classes is drawn from Greg’s book, Seven Steps to Success in the Specialty Coffee Industry, which forms the basis of our 7 Steps to Coffee Shop Success program.
All customers also receive resources for a social media audit and access to a marketing portal with customizable collateral and promotional materials.
