Coffee Tours Help Educate Bean Buyers and Consumers

For Crimson Cup, travel to coffee-growing countries is an essential part of our mission. Two primary goals are to seek out the world’s best-tasting coffee and to forge direct trade relationships with the coffee farmers who grow it.

Turns out, trips to origin have become trendy! The Columbus Dispatch recently interviewed President Greg Ubert and some of the customers we’ve led on trips to coffee farms in exotic destinations such as Costa Rica and Honduras.

As travel writer Steve Stephens writes, “Oenophiles have long enjoyed visiting their favorite wine-growing regions.

“Now, coffee drinkers are getting into the act. Coffee tourism is growing, with java lovers traveling to coffee-growing regions to learn about the places where the bean of their favorite brew is grown.”
