Crimson Cup Coffee House is located in a former 1940s-style gas station [that had been built in 1941] that had been a Standard Oil of Ohio [Sohio] gas station between 1961 and 1987 and. many years later. had been a Caribou Coffee for a while.Crimson Cup Coffee House is a great location to meet others for conversation or to spend time in solitude, to drink coffee and other caffeinated beverages, and to eat sweets. However, if you avoid caffeine and sugar [which I try to do], there is very little at Crimson Cup Coffee House for you.During my most recent visit there, they had offered me, in response to my question about "no caffeine; no sugar," a decaffeinated iced tea [that had not interested me at all] and a non-sweet "breakfast sandwich" [that had not interested me either] so I had decided to eat elsewhere. But the location is great and there is a lot of history there.
Wonderful shop on the corner of a busy intersection with friendly, young, and personable staff. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and the music is confortably low-volume at all times.Only down side is being on that busy intersections corner. Traffic can be a bit noisy at times, and getting into the parking lot (suitably sized) can be troublesome.
The service is really good and the staff are nice as well but some of the tables are really wiggly and that makes it hard to study. Every time it wiggles I get a heart attack cause my drink is going to spill on my notes or something. Other than that, I really like the style of the place and would recommend.
